S.J. Sharkie visits Summer Hockey Schools
June 15, 2009
While most were at home on Friday night watching game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, a large group of die-hard hockey players were on the ice at Sharks Ice taking part in the Summer Hockey School's Father-Son Camp.
These Father-son pairs were hoping that their video-recorders captured the whole game 7 as they deprived themselves of the results to take part in over an hour and a half of passing drills and skill training lead by Worcester Sharks head coach Roy Sommer. For the last hour, they were joined on the ice by S.J. Sharkie, although there was a brief break so that he might watch the last 5 minutes of the Penguin's game 7 victory.
Throughout the summer Sharkie will be visiting the Sharks Ice Summer Hockey Schools. Interested hockey players should click here for registration and schedule information.
Camp Director Marjorie Taylor has informed sjsharkie.com that (as of June 13) there is still room for participants during the second week of skills development camp (June 22-26) and the family camp (June 26, 27, 28).
